Elise Lerner is a New York based songwriter and lyricist, integrating sound, language and vision, which form the combination of her passions as an artist and musician. In 2021, Elise wrote and released multiple versions of “A Midnight Wish” for Benny Benack III & Steven Feifke after they heard Elise, her self-titled album of 12 original songs. In 2020, she was commissioned to compose a score for Broadway development, writing jazz music and lyrics about Ella Fitzgerald. Elise began as a self taught musician, later studying music theory under jazz musician and composer, Takeshi Asai.
